    OK,

I'm thinking about getting this so I can use my PC headset with my xbox and have dolby pro logic II through my headphones (and the mic works, too).

I'm sick of playing at night with the speakers turned down super low so I don't wake the neighbors. It makes it hard to hear audio queues in the game sometimes.

Check it out. I think it's a fantastic idea, albeit a bit expensive. Still, might be worth it considering it should last forever.

Surround only works with surround. Just use the RCA for your headphones

Pro Logic II simulates surround from stereo.

Try with the included RCA. I've played plenty COD wit a RCA to stereo cable and it worked well. You can obviously tell the sound when someone is behind you. At least give it a shot, you'd be surprised.

I'm just not sure the value is there in a piece of hardware to do anything more than that.
