BFBC2 holy shit, get it. Single player is pretty fun (the dialogue is some of the funniest for a video game, ever), but somewhat short if you're good at FPS games at around 6-8 hours. Multiplayer, the part you guys care about, is amazingly awesome. Can be frustrating at times when you don't have all the unlocks yet, but it's still tons of fun. Rush mode is incredibly intense, I find myself liking it more than the classic Conquest from 'ye old Battlefield'. With all the destruction, it's always fun to see new strategies on how to take a point or defend one. Anyway I hope you guys get it (for 360) because it is a blast.
Re: BFBC2 Thanks for reminding me what I care about. I liked the look of the squad v squad v squad combat, but I don't have the money to upgrade my computer and I know that's what it'd take. Didn't like the feel on the xbox. For now I'm fine with League of Legends.

Re: BFBC2 Ok, the way I see it is: a) I play on 360 with at least 3-7 other people every night I feel like playing (which is going to be pretty much every night for the foreseeable future) or b) I play on PC by myself most nights because you guys are either not at your gaming PC, too busy, can't be bothered, or some other lame excuse I think the choice is obvious. Sad state of affairs but I'd say the old CBH as a gaming group is dead. 3 or 4 people playing some DotA remake a couple nights a week is not what I'd call "the good ol' days". That's retirement home poker night shit.

The building destruction is awsome. Some idiots sniping in a building??? No problem Ill call in my mortar strike and the whole building is leveled. Good times.... Not to mention they havent lost the essentials to the Battlefield series. The very first thing I did when i joined a game, loaded up an ATV with 3 pounds of C4 and drove it into a tank before jumping out. The result? 3 kills. Next tiem i tried it, my ATV flew about 50 feet in the air, with me on it...
Re: BFBC2 lol i do like BF games and I have always been good, but I am enjoying LoL way too much. I'll 100% get it for XBOX but I really don't play XBOX all that much right now, and if I did I probably still would be torn between MW2 & BFBC2. Did the frame rate improve at all??? Finally, us playing on PC and not gaming as much as we used to is called growing up and changing responsibilities. Not everyone has the same lifestyle as they did before. It is a given that I do not have the same set of responsibilities as others, I crafted my lifestyle the way it is, and choose to lose sleep to get in insane amounts of game time. Not a healthy cycle, once the sun shines, I am sure I will want something with more of a quick gratuitous fill of violence. I do appreciate the push to get people together, but I do not see it happening until D3. Also, LoL and MW2 have been the closest two games to getting us back as a group... and you play neither of them.... so I would be careful passing judgement on people's game style/play time.

Re: BFBC2 Not... really. You guys don't even play MW2 anymore. I'm on XBL almost every night and I see maybe one random person (usually Colin or xberetta) playing by themselves. So don't tell me that like you play it all the time. And about LoL, I never refused to play it, I just never did. Wasn't really that interested. Not everyone can get behind a DotA game, but everyone can get behind a shooter. You won't take it from me, but most of the maps have a smooth as silk framerate. It's usually 50-60 FPS. The demo seems like it wasn't a complete version of the game's code... because there are fixes that weren't in the demo. Even Port Valdez seems smoother (not that it wasn't already smooth, but I digress). And last night I sniped a few people from over 1000yds away. I had to put the crosshair to the next notch down (about 1" on screen) to compensate for the drop.
Re: BFBC2 We don't play now, because we moved on. No one said we play it all the time... but when it came out we had groups of 6-9 every night playing it. You just refused to play for a reason that is outlandish. It wasn't even a "this game is bad" you took personal offense at EA/IW... for launching one of the best selling games of all time, also probably the most played multiplayer game of all time... and slighlty altering its PC adaptation, which probably has had little to no impact on how well the game was received. This is like school yard antics. I have 11 days clocked in that game, and don't think anyone on these forums can come close to that score in the same amount of time. We played a lot you just were not there. Once again, LoL has Lyc, Mark, Coach, and I played almost every single night, and we established a GSC channel that holds its own as a nice meeting ground. Being able to insta research or link from the internet is nice.
Re: BFBC2 i would play an fps but i can't do it on a controller, i need a keyboard and mouse...Hell I have been playing L4d2 and CS again lately lol. The new comp has given life to my gaming again.
Re: BFBC2 Oh man. You see that's the same argument everyone who defends MW2 brings up. "It's the best selling FPS ever, so it MUST be good". It's the best selling FPS because everyone who rightfully loved CoD4 got suckered into buying it. It's like saying Titanic and Avatar are the best movies ever because they're the highest grossing. Incredibly flawed logic. That game is less about skill and more about care packages and perks. If you want to play a game that requires skill and aim, you need to play BFBC2. I've already successfully converted several MW2 junkies to this game and they're not looking back. So take it from them, not me.
