Re: Gears 2 I will play it I just am out of my element for WoW because i haven't played it in over a month. I've just been waiting for the DK / expansion. Anyway, GEARS 2 tonight was awesome. A lot of fun, we were pretty much unstoppable once we got chippy and fishtoe lol... They are good guys who know their shit as far as the game goes, we should play with them more... I like Fish's voice haha.. Sounds like Colin Farrel (they are irish). Anyway we should start playing that more often that was a lot of fun.
Re: Gears 2 I already cancelled... after trying it again for 3 days I know why I quit. The halloween event was interesting I guess, but I'm not excited about it at all. Me and the dude that rang me up at Gamestop for GoW2 joked about the midnight release of WotLK. Basically we agreed it was pretty dumb that they have a midnight event for that (not trying to start a war here but lets be real). Anyway, I won't be getting WotLK when it comes out... I'll be too busy playing Gears 2 and L4D.

What happened was you had a bonding momement with the black clerk at gamestop about a fantasy game (which black folk rarely play[think how many black people GOT the LOTR movies]) and he probably just agreed with you to get you to leave and stop talking about the zombie game you kept going on about. think before making statements like the above one. When BC came out there was like a thousand people outside my bestbuy and close to that at the futureshop beside it, eb games line went out the doors of the mall across the street... WoW is no joke for sales.

Re: Gears 2 lol did you not read what I wrote. I tool no offense, your decision is your decision. I just found what you wrote completely retarded and called it for what it was. Raw emotion and ill thought opinion. If you want to make an arguement try and support it with a better arguement than "cmon, it just is" also, why should I be offended. The expansion is pretty frickin cool. Tons of people all over the place just like when BC or the game first launched. Servers are running flawless, and the new zones and instances are goregeous.
Re: Gears 2 I don't doubt any of that. I probably won't buy it soon anyway if at all. Just don't know if I'm ready to go back. I know I said I never would go back, but that's not entirely true. Just not soon. I kind of want to see the new content and get a priest up to the end and see what they did with the PvP or the world of deathknights.

I was hyped about it at first but I may need to be convinced to play it, for some reason I just fell out of it and don't really care anymore. I'm playing some console RPG's atm and doing marathon runs of The Wire which I've always wanted to watch. Great show.

Re: Gears 2 You guys act like i am trying to get you to come back? You can pick up the game and play whenever you want. As for me being wishy washy with games, J you jumped on and off board with this one pretty quick. Like 3-4 days playing quick. Also, not sure how someone who powers through and waste all their time and energy leveling, makes the game itself gay? There is not a single 80 on mugthol. Two days into game and there is a 75 at highest, possibly 4 76s. Its interesting to watch and see new content with a new crowd. Anyways I am having fun chugging through the new content, and the pvp is going to be beast end game so i am looking forward to some intense arena runs and cool world pvp. There will ALWAYS be people who get to the end first, remember the 40s in Warhammer within 2 days of game launch? Anyways, reading over the post and discussions I think it is pretty cool they managed to do that. Not everyone will have the gear patience help or time to do this. Not like the guy did this all his own, he had a healer there with him helping him to power lvl the whole thing. I will hit 73 tonight, gear and loot is awesome if you are just coming back to game at 70. Literally you can get a 200 spell dmg staff by doing some mid difficulty quest chains. Havent even touched a DK yet, but they look badass.
