To be honest I still think Xbox sucks in comparison to the PS3, the only reason I own one is that they are such a monopolizing asshat company that constantly just throws their money bags around in order to get what they want (PS3 exclusives, TIMED exclusives). They actually pay companys to wait like half a year to release the same game on PS3 so they can have an advantage, they pay off companys to get "extra content" that won't be available on PS3 which makes people buy that version, even though there STILL is no DLC for GTA4.

The interface is better on PS3, it's smoother, way more options, the STORE is 5000x better, everything is so simple and easy - and free. Most importantly it's a Blu-Ray player which if you have an HDTV is worth every cent for that alone... I LOVE Blu-Rays and I can't go back to watching DVD anymore.

Xbox blows ... It's just they have a good game once in a while you cant get on PS3.. Rarely. Like gears 2. Given the choice I always buy the PS3 version over Xbox.

I didn't say anything about Xbox live i was talking about the system in general, but yeah... Xbox Live IS a good service and has flawless online for the mostpart, PS3 is free but there is like nothing I want to play online with it. It's not really fair to say the online sucks though, because there is online only games like Warhawk that play flawlessly with 50+ people or whatever in the server, it can be done there is just less focus on multiplayer.

For installing games... That is a incredibly GOOD feature that drastically cuts down loading times, did you not notice the Xbox ripping that off in a new upcoming patch so you can install games on the HDD for faster load times? It's an excellent feature.

I wouldn't really say the quality is better than PS3 now, but in the beginning it was like that... No one knew how to make games for the PS3 and Xbox was always better while PS3 had framerate problems etc, but those were 99% of the time EA sports games.

The difference between me and you guys is you guys enjoy shooters, I don't. I enjoy gears because it's not a FIRST person shooter, I enjoy it because it's more of an action game with FPS qualities. I absolutely hate shooters, but find them fun to play through a few times with friends if it has co-op. From now on every FPS is a RENT in my eyes. Not wasting a dime on them any more, they just aren't my style - and that's the whole fanbase of Xbox / Xbox live... In fact that's about 90% of the Xbox games in general, so that's probably why I'm not a fan, I'm more drawn to Japanese games like MGS / Silent Hill / RE / JRPGS etc... Shooters are western and I'm not totally down with western games lol.. I'm not a japanese fanboy or anything I just grew up playing those games and it's what I'm used to.

Also Resistance is the playstations answer to Gears of War and they are VERY good games as well, again.. Shooters. But Resistance 2 is as good as Gears 2 in every way apparently, even in online which apparently rocks.. So there's good games out there for it, you just need to actually play them

your feeble attempt to stick up for ps3.. well its sad. I think after Nov once Microsoft implements their new user setup... I think it will seal the deal. The Ps3 is a sylish high power console, but I honestly have the ability to play both systems, and the xbox is just as good, if not better. Now that MS is tossing around money to secure titles, which they should, it further seals the deal.

I don't need to defend it, the Playstation is doing fine and will always be around because the Xbox is no competition as far as Japan goes, even despite Microsofts "FEEBLE" attempts to secure the market, it just will never happen.

I still play my old PS2 games upconverted on my PS3 more than my xbox... There is no deal to seal the Xbox is a mediocre system backed with tonnes of money which gives people the impression it's better than it is. It's like a super ugly dude that's rich and pays hookers to have sex with him, that's my best way to put it. Another reason I hate Xbox and Microsoft is that Xbox single handedly killed console gaming in my eyes... There are no more exclusive games, they just monopolized everything and made gaming less fun for me in a way. I hate them. It's unfortunate that every once and a while a game comes out I want to play on the system though, even if it's rarely. I really don't want to support them.

Playstation > Xbox in my eyes... If I were stuck on a desert island with only one gaming system to play for the rest of my life, I'd pick the PS2 or PS1 over the Xbox 360 even... You guys can name off so many "good games" I bet for the Xbox but a majority of them are for PS3 now anyway... But besides that, Xbox "killer aps" suck the big one. Halo is a JOKE! I don't see why anyone thinks that game is a "game of the year" or "best ____ ever" , they suck so bad. I enjoyed playing co-op and multiplayer for a few hours but I was over it so fast. Their games aren't that good, but Gears 2 will be dope.

Metal Gear Solid 4 > Xbox + Xbox 360's entire library. Yup, I said it.

I'm so sad though because I just spent 10 hours binging on Tales of Vesperia on the 360 ;_; ... That system doesn't deserve good RPG's. They're getting Star Ocean too. lol, you guys just have different tastes than me, if you were to see my library of games I doubt you'd find many that you'd want to play... Grinding for 10 hours roaming around a room killing shit over and over / learning abilities and shit until I pass out is fun for me... I doubt any of you enjoy that lol. I'm just weird and very anti-Xbox.
