Hi all!! thanks for letting me in! Actually I am Brad's mom! and part of his Provectus guild. He told me to come and sign up here - even mom's can be told what to do!! I have been gaming for many years; so don't worry I have that "tough skin" ...having raised 3 kids and co-led several guilds; I've been there, done that seen and heard it all. So don't hold back! I haven't created a character yet -- still waiting for my game to arrive. Welcome! You just might be the oldest person on these forums. We haven't gotten many people to sign up here yet, but we're working on that. If you're looking at going with a healer class, you should consider the Imperial Agent -> Operative specialization, the Bounty Hunter -> Mercenary specialization, or the Sith Inquisitor -> Sorcerer specialization. They all have different types of heals and play styles, so there's a good range to choose from.

Imperial Agent is the way to go. You can play as a healer, or as a assassin type character. And both tree's are really strong. Merc healer spec is pretty nice, since you wear heavy armor, and have some cool knock back abilities. I think Sorc healers are great, but you see a lot of them. Glad you are on board, and hope to see you in game.
Thanks Karanji, and Fusion too; I just started as an Inq. and enjoy that alot. However, I did Black Talon with Brad (Calix) last nite. he's an Imperial Agent .... soooooo after reading up on the forums and hearing you, I might just roll one and see how it goes. After, I reach a couple of levels. I'm just about off the starter area right now. Either way the game is great!!! I am Valentyne btw on my Sith....hope to see you all!
