    so whats the shibby on this new demo released? What have they improved? Machines still move like crap?

    The demo is on Steam, which makes it easy for you to try. Just download it, and because it's on steam, steam will pass your game name, computer settings, etc.

    Steam sucks big black dinks though. Yeah man stop asking and just download it lol.. It's good but I don't know if I'd buy it.

    steam is awesome nowadays

    they did a good job with it, i think like everyone will be using steam in the years to come

    When Steam first came out, yes it was:

    But now it is awesome. If you want to buy a game, just click buy, fill out the form, and you can play right away (after downloading of course).

    And, you never have to worry about bullshit like cds or boxes or cdkeys and crap like that.

    I like steam, I think its a well executed idea.

    However, I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket, and I don't like a company with proprietary closed source software dictate/direct/strong arm gaming future.
    Is steam going to act that way? I don't know... but they are building up a formidable user base of which they can do whatever they please.

    I agree, TF2 is better imho. I don't really like the Enemy Territory games that much anyway.
