Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. roflmao Dude try as you might, you cannot discredit this game. I am sure you can actually confirm only have of that, and even if you can, who cares. They are making these changes to better / universalize the game, as opposed to developing 2-3 different setups/game routes. Played L4D 2 demo last night and I believe COD4 MW1 has better frame rates, graphics, and playability. Cant wait for MW2!!!!

Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. In Brendan's defense, universalization of the platform takes out the advantages you do get from the PC. A caravan can only travel as fast as its slowest member.

You can deteriorate and lose focus by specializing a product / product category (Motorola), instead of focusing on a single process that works best (Apple). Zbox setup has proven it has what it takes to run smoothly and get the job done, no reason not to universalize this setup. Every situation/company can have it's differences, but focusing on one process, allows you to allocate resources more wisely, and allows updates/changes to occur much more rapidly. The average ping and all that jazz, I will believe it when I see it. But yes in this situation Coach is right, buy zbox if you are unhappy with PC. You have both units... and this wouldn't be the first time you bought the same game twice over... if anything you should be praising them for saving you money. OPEN THEM PEEPERS Brendan and look at the big picture.
Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. Xbox has shortcomings such as the lack of mod support that the PC can take advantage of. Where would we be without mod support? you'd never have played counter-strike. Sometimes the mods are better than the original game. Remember that. I'm buying it for xbox if you guys don't raise a stink about it in the first week.
Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. MW2 is not a PC game...I never thought i would be a console gamer until i reazlied that it costs so much damn money to keep a computer up2date with hardware. I play MW2 on my 1080p 42" TV and it's a thing of beauty. Not to mention i can lay down and play and not sitting at a comptuer. They really put so much thought and detail into MW2, brendan your missing out. Everything from the guns, maps, unlocks, emblems, titles (i know some of the emblems are corny but still) they even have 3rd person mode!! Also they have a mode where bullets richohet off shields, walls etc that are metal and will do damage. The physics behind the game are incredible. Prolly why i have already played for 40 hours. I am amped for LFD2 tonight tho.
Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. i played the demo of L4D2 and it blew. Single player blows in that game... it doesnt compare to CoD4 MW1 or 2.
Re: MW2 PC, What a joke. You're actually right. The single player experience in L4D/L4D2 is horrible. That's why the game is, um, centered around co-op. Try playing with some friends and you'd change your mind (it's fantastic), but I don't expect you to give it a chance.
