    Official Server Rules

These are the official CandybarHeaven Server Rules.

Failure to comply with any of the rules
    • Players who fail to obey these rules may kicked and/or banned at the sole discretion of the server admins, subject to the server appeal procedure. Severity punishments are up to the admin currently playing.

    1. Player Etiquette and Conduct
    1. Battlefield 2142 is a team game. Players are expected to squad up and work as a team.
    2. Players are to avoid ramming and running over teammates. On some occasions, a "ram" is inevitable. Whether this is intentional or not is the admin's discretion.
    3. Parking vehicles on runways and/or helipads is forbidden.
    4. Assume any engineer working on a vehicle is fixing it for him or herself and do not take it. If you wish to board or use the vehicle, ask the engineer for permission. If you inadvertently take a vehicle being worked on by an engineer and he or she asks you to return it, do so IMMEDIATELY. Do not get in a drive a vehicle when another person is operating a weapon in a secondary seat. If that player asks you to leave the vehicle, you must do so.
    5. Vehicle destruction is not allowed. Destroying severely damaged vehicles when there is no Engineer near to repair it is permissible.
    6. As a passenger of a transport craft, do not jump out as it is landing. This will result in a teamkill by the pilot.
    7. When piloting a troop transport craft, do not simply jump out when you are over your destination. Passengers may not know, and others may still spawn on the craft. Please land it.

    2. Player Communication and Chat
    1. Use of racist, homophobic, or sexist language is prohibited. Excessive language abuse may result in warning and/or kicking. Multiple offenses are subject to permanent punishment.
    2. Communication with squad members is critical. We expect individual squad members to communicate with their squad and act as a unit. Though you may not have a mic, please be aware of your squads orders and do your pest to take part.
    3. Every player on the server is responsible for paying attention to server chat. Chat comes and goes rather fast, so we do not expect you to read every line, but please have an idea what is going on. The admins need a way to communicate with all players.
    4. Spotting. Excessive spotting will be considered spam. Use spotting responsively.

    3. TK's and Punishing
    1. Deliberate killing of your own team is prohibited. The sever has built in TK protection. 8 team kills and/or 4 punishes will result in a kick. If an admin is present during intentional team killing, that player will be kicked or banned on the spot.
    2. If you accidentally team kill, please say sorry by either typing it or using radio commands ASAP so the other player knows.
    3. Do not punish for accidental team kills! There is a limit to your punishes. Over punishing will be warned, then kicked. Punish an admin for an accident will be warned.
    4. Admin Rights and Responsibilities
    1. Admins are to follow these rules.
    2. Admins have the right to kick a player to make room. This is not a personal kick. Low score, time in server, and/or high ping may be considered when kicking to make room.
    3. If admins are abusing power, please post in the forums. Server admins do not have forum admin, so rest assured your message will be read.
    5. Appeals
    1. Bans may be appealed by posting in these forums. Please include the date and time of the ban, all relevant information, preliminary discipline, and any admins present, including the admin that banned you.
    2. If you were banned for doing something wrong, please provide an apology and the section of rules that you violated.
