    its the computer, i went to an apple store and apparently in 2007 there were two types of mac pro's, the ones that use ddr2 and the ones that use ddr3, we've got a ddr2 and as such there may not be any upgrade possibilities for the graphics card. i was told to bring in my machines number and they could tell me conclusively, but i've got a conssistant job now so there is a possibility of saving some money for a low end box to game on,

    Yes. Get yourself a low end box that can be reliably overclocked. You can build gaming computers for $400 or less that will run SC2 on medium settings at least.
